It contains an overview of what involvement means, who can do it, how to have a positive and inclusive experience, and where you can go to find opportunities. It’s also a useful resource for user-led groups to send to their members or if you organise involvement activities.

    'Good Life' Research

    Karen Mutsatsa , a disabled post graduate researcher in psychology at Anglia Ruskin University, is carrying out research asking what living a ‘Good Life’ means when you have a physical or sensory impairment. The research will involve 20 questions and a £15 amazon gift voucher to show appreciation of participating in the study.

    Voices on the Cost of Living will be Heard

    Following a successful funding application for South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation Cost of Living Grant, Sheffield Voices, will be facilitating two Cost of Living outreach sessions in the North and South of the city and four group sessions in community spaces .The sessions will focus on listening to concerns, producing accessible resources and helping people save money on food, heating and other bills during Winter 2023/24.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
