    Give Voice to the Autistic Adult Choir

    Are you autistic and enjoy music or singing? In partnership with Burton Street Foundation, The Autistic Adult Choir are starting a free group in Sheffield! They are looking for adults who like to sing or listen to music, who are autistic (no formal diagnosis needed) who might like to be part of a choir that meets once a week. No musical knowledge is necessary.

    Sheffield Mencap and Gateway Carers Outreach

    Are you a carer who cares for an adult with learning disabilities or autism? Do you feel isolated in this current situation? Would you like to meet like-minded people and find out about exciting activities and events? Sheffield Mencap and Gateway’s Carers Outreach Coffee Mornings start on Monday 5 October (and the first Monday of every month) over Zoom and their Christmas Choir rehearsals start on Thursday 1 October.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
