  • 'Our Country's Good' - Disability Friendly Theatre comes to Sheffield

    This innovative touring production in Sheffield from 12th May – 19th May, has been produced with Ramps on the Moon, an organisation working towards the inclusion and integration of Deaf and disabled individuals in the UK theatre. It features creative use of audio description, signing and captions.

  • Sheffield Theatres Vacancy - Agent for Change

    This part time post will develop innovative and successful practices in the integration of D/deaf and disabled artists and audiences into all aspects of the theatres’ work.The closing date for applications is Friday 28 April 2017 at 10.00am.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
