    Some patients in Sheffield are facing ‘significant barriers’ to accessing GP practices online, a new report has said.The report is the work of Healthwatch Sheffield, who set up a GP website health check, which analysed 74 GP practice websites, finding a widely varying picture across the city.

    Communication aid user Jamie Preece , a volunteer with Sheffield Cycling 4 All , is going a long way to help an organisation for others in a similar position. Jamie, has cerebral palsy and it is only in the last few years that he has started using Augmentative and Alternative Communication. His 500 Miles Without A Voice fundraiser during August will raise money for Communication Matters.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
