Do Sheffield Hospitals Communicate Well?

Do Sheffield Hospitals Communicate Well?

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals are collecting views from their patients and local communities about how they communicate with patients.

They particularly want to know

  • How patients want to receive information
  • If they are giving out good quality and easy to understand letters, leaflets, and emails.
  • How they can improve communication with patients with specific needs.

All the feedback received will go to the decision makers at the hospital to improve the ways Sheffield hospitals communicate with patients.

You can take part in their online survey if you wish to give your views. View Poster

The consultation closes on 31 December.

I love that I can find everything on the patient portal, my post has been very unreliable for quite some time and would have missed appointments if I couldn’t get access to my details online

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
