    Carers Week Events and Campaign

    Carers UK aim to ‘put carers on the map’ during Carers Week from 10 – 16 June and is inviting unpaid carers to sign their open letter to the next Prime Minister calling for action including the reform and increase of Carers Allowance, to deliver a Carers strategy and recognise caring as the 10th protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010. Sheffield Carers Centre events are taking place during the week.

    Carers Week Cares for your Wellbeing

    Carers Week ( 6 – 12 June ) is an annual event that raises awareness and celebrates the massive contribution that unpaid carers make to our communities by providing a wide range of help and support to relatives and friends.Sheffield Carers Centre has partnered with Sheffield City Trust to celebrate Carers Week and offer a series of free leisure taster sessions.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
