That’s just in time for National Occupational Therapy Week ( 4 – 10 November ). ‘The power of occupational therapy – transforming health and social care’ is the title of this year’s campaign.

    Sensory Vaccination Clinic Date for Teenagers

    Do you have a child with additional needs who has not been able to access their teenage Covid vaccinations? If so the Sheffield Children’s Vaccinations and Immunisations Team are holding a relaxed sensory session for children with additional needs and their families at The Concord Sports Centre, Shiregreen Lane, S5 6AE on Saturday 5th March from 9.30am to 3pm.

  • Free Taxi Provision to Access Vaccination Clinics

    Free Taxi Provision to Access Vaccination Clinics

    Sheffield City Council is offering support to provide a taxi service to anyone unable to access their Covid jabs at a vaccination clinic because of transport difficulties, who otherwise could not or would not attend. Sheffield City Council will then receive an itemised bill of the trip and cover the cost. This arrangement is currently running until 31st March 2022. If you meet the criteria and have a disability we can help by arranging a taxi for you ( using a code provided by the council ) so just get in touch.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
