  • Petition Over Disabled Parking Bays in Sheffield

A petition has been set up by a Sheffield citizen to protest at discrimination against disabled drivers in the city’s major new roads upgrading scheme, claiming that ‘Streets Ahead’ have resurfaced on street parking zones across Sheffield but have not included disabled bays. Disabled adults, children and carers should be able to shop locally, meet friends and support local businesses. Without “disabled bays”, this makes it difficult and is discriminatory. Recent Feedback    (We'd love to receive your feedback, please click here to add some)

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
