    A group of disabled people are regularly getting together to have some pub-style fun in a virtual way. The Staying Inn has been set up to keep people in self-isolation connected during Covid-19.On Sunday May 3 the pub will have a special guest in the form of Australian author and disability rights campaigner Carly Findlay .

  • Sheffield Pub has perfect attitude to disability

    If you want to know where to go on Saturday to watch the England game, thumbs up to The Barrel pub in Chapeltown. Their staff were dismayed that a parent thought he had to ask if his disabled son would be welcome inside, because of their experience of people’s negative attitudes and comments.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
