What people say will help to inform their new Integrated Care Strategy for South Yorkshire.Please note the closing date is 11 December 2022. Healthwatch Sheffield are running online meetings on 8 and 9 December to discuss these questions and help more people to feed into the strategy

Did you know that if you’re disabled you can go on a Priority Services Register for water as well as for energy companies? It’s easy to join and offers help such as bills in alternative formats, prioriy support during planned works or interruption of your supply, help with meter reading or to manage your account.South Yorkshire self-advocacy group Speakup are working with Yorkshire Water to encourage people with learning disabilites and autism to register and are also supporting the rollout of Smart Meters.

A Sheffield-based legal firm has launched a campaign to ensure disabled people get priority online shopping places.Fry Law recently won a case taken against Tesco on behalf of a housebound woman who had been unable to secure a slot for her shopping. She accused the supermarket of breaching the Equality Act 2010 for not making reasonable adjustments.
