    The Prime Minister has announced that England’s Plan B measures will end on Thursday January 27th including compulsory mask-wearing on public transport and in shops. Equality campaigners are calling on the Government to reverse their decision as many disabled and vulnerable people are still shielding at home and do not feel safe to go out.

  • New Face Mask Rules

    New Face Mask Rules

    From 30 Nov 2021 it is compulsory for people in England to wear a face covering ( if you are able to wear one ) on all public transport, including taxis and private hire vehicles and in shops ( and public facing areas ). The new ruling has been put in place by the UK government to limit the spread of the new Omicron COVID-19 variant. Disability Sheffield has issued a new video warning that the Coronavirus crisis has not come to an end yet and warning people to continue to take precautions.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
