    Have you received your 2023 cost of living payments? if not, the DWP have published an online form to report missing Cost of Living payments from earlier this year. You will need your national insurance number in order to complete the form.

    The government has announced that from 20th September, 6 million people who are paid certain disability benefits will receive an automatic one-off cost of living £150 payment. GOV.UK also has a new page about the various schemes to help with household costs.

    You may have seen in the media that there has been a significant increase in scammers attempting to obtain personal information by sending out texts suggesting that people are eligible for cost of living payments. If you are elgible, you don’t need to take any action and the DWP never ask for personal details by SMS or email.
