    Short-term Care for Older People Survey Analysis

    Sheffield City Council launched an online survey in July 2020 asking for residents’ views about short-term care for older people. Respondents indicated their priorities and suggestions for short term care including ideas such as coastal respite opportunities for person and carer, personalised outcome based breaks, and morning and evening respite options.

    The Sheffield NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are planning to make changes to children’s NHS short breaks services (respite care) for children with complex health needs. Their online survey is open until 28 March if you wish to give your views.

  • New Service offering Respite and Support to Carers in Sheffield

    Support is offered at respite hubs in venues throughout Sheffield, providing a safe, comfortable and non clinical environment where you can leave the person you care for, for up to 6 hours at a time, so you can have a break, at a cost of £30 per day.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
