    Cathedral Archer Project Harvest Appeal

    The Cathdral Archer Project, a charity set up to help homeless people in Sheffield, has launched their annual appeal which this year runs until 25th October. Donations of food will help feed up to 90 homeless people a day with breakfast, lunch and food parcels.

  • Davey Appeal Ruling

    A severely-disabled man has lost an appeal over local authority cuts to his care package in a decision described as ‘devastating’ by disability rights organisations.This was the first case brought under the wellbeing duty of the Care Act and it clearly demonstrated the limits of this duty. It is worth bearing in mind though that the case was mainly lost because of factual evidence.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
