We know from research that people with long term health conditions/disabilities present differently with Long Covid and can be dismissed or not taken seriously by medical practitioners. Come along to our focus group on Wednesday 24th May from 4.30 to 7pm at Sharrow Community Forum to tell us what your experiences are of accessing support.

Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation have worked with 15 other Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to create a new tool designed to support people with Long Covid which is now available at the My Long Covid Needs website. The site is designed to help people feel better supported to manage the impacts of Long Covid and improve access to support service.

A new specialist service in Sheffield aiming at helping patients suffering with the long-term effects of Covid-19 has been shortlisted for a national Health Service Journal Patient Safety Award. Resources and supporting information to help people manage their post-Covid recovery are available on Sheffield Teaching Hospital’s website.

It’s their very first Octoberfest. Their October calendar has daily events including , mindfulness, nutrition, playreading, singing and writing workshops and a murder mystery! Get together and share good moments with people who understand your condition.
