Sheffield Community Awards 2023

Sheffield Community Awards 2023

Voluntary Action Sheffield has announced that nominations for the Sheffield Community Awards 2023 are OPEN! The awards recognise and celebrate the work of local communities; the volunteers, the groups, the charities, faith and voluntary organisations making a huge contribution to Sheffield people and communities.

The judging criteria will consider achievements, performance, impact, and potential, ensuring that the most deserving nominees are recognised.

Individual nominees must be from Sheffield or working within an organisation based or represented in Sheffield. Nominated organisations and groups must have operations within Sheffield. There are no limits on how many nominations you can make, and self-nomination is encouraged.

Click here to nominate by filling out the form.

The deadline for nominations is midnight on 8th October 2023

The winners will be celebrated at a grand event on November 2nd, 2023, at the Cutlers Hall.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
