    The Yorkshire and Humber office of the charity Just Different, set up to provide meaningful paid employment opportunities for disabled adults, is searching for workshop presenters on a self-employed basis. This will involve going to schools, businesses and community groups and talking about difference in a way that encourages acceptance, tolerance and understanding.

  • Scope's New Digital Employment Service

    Disability organisation Scope has teamed up with Virgin Media in a bid to get a million people into work by 2020. Their Support to Work scheme offers online support to disabled jobseekers via telephone, Skype and text. Employment advisers offer advice on employability skills, writing a CV and interview techniques. Your personal adviser will create a 12-week action plan hopefully designed to help you succeed in the jobs market.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
