    Researchers from the University of Sheffield are holding a number of workshops to hear your views on ‘The ideal urgent and emergency care system.’ Refreshments and a light lunch or dinner will be provided and you will also receive a £30 high-street shopping voucher if you attend a workshop.

  • 'Treat Me Well' in Hospital Campaign Call By Mencap

    Mencap has launched a national campaign to transform how the NHS treats people with learning disabilities in hospital and is looking for local people to tell of their experiences. If you have a learning disability and want to give your views and suggestions for improvement please complete the Sheffield Treat Me Well hospital survey produced by Sheffield Mencap and Gateway’s Hospital Campaign Group.

    Manchester Metropolitan University is undertaking research into workplace fire safety. The study aims to gather information on how deaf or disabled people feel about their safety if there is a fire at work or in education and welcomes your views in their survey.

  • National Survey For Individual Employers

    Disabled people who employ personal assistants or support workers are being asked to take part in a survey by Being The Boss, a national network for individual employers which provides peer support and a coherent voice for them in the wider community. The survey closes on June 29th.

    Our local consumer watchdog for health and social care services, are asking for your help to set their priorities. Healthwatch Sheffield have created an online survey for you to have your say on what they should focus their efforts on over the next two years. The survey closes April 27th.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
