    Sheffield Cycling 4 All Development Co-ordinator Vacancy

    Disability Sheffield is recruiting a part time Development Co-ordinator to work with our inclusive cycling project. We are looking for someone to lead on the monitoring and funding elements of the project including administering our trike loan scheme, helping develop SC4A as a sustainable project in the longer term. The closing date for applications is 9am on Friday 1st July 2022.

  • Cycling 4 All Update

    Cycling 4 All Update

    Sheffield Cycling 4 All is again riding high running sessions (which you have to pre-book currently ) in Hillsborough Park Monday to Friday and the last Saturday of every month. But their activities will be temporarily suspended due to the Tramlines festival from July 12th to August 3rd. You’re also invited to a presentation to design a mural for their new shipping containers on Wednesday 21st July at 4-5pm.

    SC4A Outdoors and Indoors Action

    Sheffield Cycling 4 All is getting back to park life with group and solo sessions taking place in Hillsborough Park due to the relaxation of lockdown regulations and online activities are still taking place for those who may not be able to get out. There are now Saturday sessions on the last Saturday of each month, starting this Saturday (24th April). You can check out their new videos as well.

    Get Into the Groove at Our Dance 4 All Sessions

    We may mostly be stuck indoors at the moment, but those lovely people at Sheffield Cycling 4 All have taken steps to create a moving experience for you – their brand new Dance 4 All sessions starting on Friday February 5th! These classes are led by Sheffield based dance teacher Angelina Abel and are designed to break barriers through movement and storytelling to vibrant African rhythms. They are tailored to suit all different abilities and fitness levels, with seated and standing options for each dance move

    Storage Facilities Appeal by Sheffield Cycling 4 All

    Sheffield Cycling 4 All, an inclusive cycling project run by Disability Sheffield, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help pay for the relocation of their cycle storage containers in Hillsborough Park, which is undergoing various improvement projects. A relocation to elsewhere in the park will allow expansion of the project. The appeal hopes to raise £5,000 so please donate if you possibly can.

  • New Cycling Sessions at SC4A

    New Cycling Sessions at SC4A

    Sheffield Cycling 4 All has reluctantly decided to cancel ALL cycling sessions until further notice due to the coronavirus. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause . Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and Sport England , Sheffield Cycling 4 All, our accessible and inclusive cycling project, is stepping up a gear and is offering new groups for people with specific health conditions or impairments at Hillsborough Park ( next to the tennis courts at the bottom of the park ). Sessions start at the end of March/beginning of April and the cost is just £4.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
