    You may be wondering whether restrictions on visiting care homes can be eased now that official figures have just confirmed that the NHS has offered the COVID-19 vaccine to residents at every eligible care home with older residents across England. Even if you or the person you’re visiting have had your COVID-19 vaccination, you must still follow guidance to keep yourself, your loved ones and the other people living and working in the care home as safe as possible.

    Sheffield LGBT+ Multi Agency Network

    The recently launched Sheffield LGBT+ Multi-Agency Network is a network of Sheffield based organisations, working together to represent and support Sheffield’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and other minority sexual and gender communities. The Network coordinate city wide events including LGBT+ History Month every February. Their next quarterly meeting is on Wednesday 24th February .

    Ask Your MP To Speak Up For People with Learning Disabilities

    A major organisation which represents people with learning disabilities has launched a campaign to ask MPs to help prioritise all members of this vulnerable group for Coronavirus vaccinations. Mencap says that despite the fact that people with a learning disability are more than six times as likely to die from Coronavirus as the general population, many are not in any of the priority groups for the jab.

These classes are led by Sheffield based dance teacher Angelina Abel and are designed to break barriers through movement and storytelling to vibrant African rhythms. They are tailored to suit all different abilities and fitness levels, with seated and standing options for each dance move

    Proposal to Relocate Sheffield Cycling 4 All

    Sheffield Cycling 4 All has secured funding for storage space to keep their selection of adapted bikes after having to move from their original base due to alterations to the Hillsborough park’s amenities. Sheffield City Council has set up an online survey to gauge opinions on the storage space itself and how it should look. Please contribute to the discussion about the planning proposal. The survey closes on 3 February.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
