Move More Big Health Event

Speakup Rotherham are holding their annual Keeping Healthy event in Sheffield with partners at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield on 12th September from 10am to 2.30pm.They have 100 spaces for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people from across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley, to try sporting activities and attend workshops. If you want to go you need to book.

Speak Up for ME and Fibromyalgia

25% of people with ME/CFS are severely ill, leaving them housebound or bedbound.Funded by a Healthwatch Sheffield #SpeakUp Grant, Sheffield ME and Fibromyalgia Group are conducting a survey and focus groups to help improve access to health and social care support for people living with the conditions.

Bus Service Cuts - your chance to share what is important to you

Approximately one third of bus routes in Sheffield are vulnerable to being wholly or partly cut at the beginning of October. South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) are seeking feedback on what services are most important to you. This will inform which service might receive limited support from public money.

Consultation on Changes to GP sites in the North of Sheffield

The South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (formerly Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group) has launched a consultation today on their proposals to locate several existing GP surgeries in several new hub sites. We are keen to hear your views on these proposals and will be running focus group events to ensure that anything not captured in the consultation survey form is captured.

City Centre Circular Bus Starts on the 1st August

The new bus service will connect major transport stops and some of the locations cut off from public transport since the closure of Pinstone Street to traffic. We are hopeful that more disabled and other members of the public will be able to access the city centre.
