Zest Essential Item Delivery Service for S6, S3, S10 postcodes

Zest Essential Item Delivery Service for S6, S3, S10 postcodes

The Coronavirus outbreak has made accessing essential items difficult for many people. If you are self isolating, vulnerable, have low mobility or are otherwise unable to access essential items, you can use Zest’s COVID support delivery service.

Zest, a centre for community wellbeing, has set up the service specifically for people living in the S6, S3 or S10 areas of Sheffield.

This service is accessible to each household once per week.

An essential item is – Food, letter posting, pet food etc
but before you give them a call ask yourself:

Is it urgent?
Will it significantly impact my quality of life or risk my health and wellbeing if I don’t have it?
Can I buy it online?
Can my family/Friend/Neighbour help?

Zest does not accept cash and you can pay by either BAC or PayPal.

If you would like to use Zest’s COVIDsupport delivery service, please send an email to covidsupport@zestcommunity.co.uk with a brief description of your situation and information on the essential items you require. If you do not have access to email, please call/text Zest on 07517 864 017 (Tues/Thurs) or 07517 810 824 (Mon/Wed/Fri).

This is not a crisis service and operates within working hours (Mon-Fri 10-4). If you have urgent needs please contact Sheffield Council Support Helpline on 0114 273 4567 .

Please note: this delivery service is being run by people who have volunteered to risk themselves to help people in need. Please only use this service for essential items, if you have no other way of getting them.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
