Your Chance to Choose

Your Chance to Choose

Chance to Choose is the name of our exciting new project commissioned by Sheffield City Council to coproduce the new ‘Working Age Adults Framework’ for people with learning disabilities and autism.

Disability Sheffield and Healthwatch Sheffield have come together to support Sheffield Voices to coproduce the new framework.

So we’re getting together to have fun and we want you to join us. We’re meeting to learn what our ideas of a perfect life looks like. We’re going to share our ideas by making art, writing stories or creating drama.

If you want to be involved and you have a learning disability or autism contact us on 0114 2536750 or email info@disabilitysheffield.org.uk

We are also focusing on supported living services, day opportunities and respite care and have a team of drama experts, artists and writers who will run sessions for the people you support.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
