If so, the Young Carers Activity Fund could help.
Sheffield Young Carers administer the Young Carers Activity Fund on behalf of Sheffield City Council to give young carers aged under 18 a break from their caring role.
As well as individual and group grants of £300, organisations can also apply for £20 e-vouchers for young carers. Young carers can use the vouchers to buy whatever they like to help relieve some of the boredom and stress of caring and give them some fun at home. This might be boardgames, arts and crafts activities, sports equipment, books, outdoor equipment if they have a garden, or anything else they’d like
There is no closing date for the vouchers – organisations can apply at any time.
Sheffield Young Carers will keep offering this fund until the amount allocated for vouchers is gone.
