What's your Experience of Accessing Heathcare?

What's your Experience of Accessing Heathcare?

We think everyone with a learning disability or autism should get good healthcare so Disability Sheffield is hosting a series of events during the week of 16th-20th May to find out about your experiences.

If you have a learning disability or autism or you are a carer, we would like to hear from you. There are two free online health events = we recognise that people might not be able to attend in the daytime so we have one event in the day and one event in the evening

If you want to come to one of our online events please book a place on eventbrite

We are also hosting an event in a day service on 20th May.If you have a learning disability and want to attend please contact Kathryn Littlewood at kathryn.littlewoood@disabilitysheffield.org.uk

We’ll also be sending out a survey and we will have a phoneline that we’ll leave open for two weeks so that you can call and leave messages for us to tell us what you think. The phone number to call will be announced on 17th May.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
