This Girl Can Weekender Events

Try something new! Women and girls with an interest in sport – and of any ability range – are being offered free taster sessions at several Sheffield venues.

The This Girl Can Weekender takes place from October 6-9 and includes an ice skating session at iceSheffield on Saturday October 7 from 4.30 to 7pm. There will also be sports, fitness and health sessions at Wisewood and Thorncliffe Leisure Centres and Graves Health and Sports Centre.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
