Tell The CQC About Your Care

Tell The CQC About Your Care

The NHS has never been under more pressure than it is today – and people who live with a disability or long term health condition need to be confident that we get the treatment and service that we need.

The regulator for the NHS, pharmacies, and care services in England is the Care Quality Commission (CQC). They are asking disabled people and their families to share with them their experiences through their Tell Us about Your Care Campaign.

It include any NHS or care related issue – your GP surgery, physiotherapy, visits to the dentist, care provider experience, etc.

The CQC acknowledge that they have previously made their plans for the NHS and care without the specific input of disabled people, and now wish to change this.

The “Tell Us About Your Care Campaign” allows you and your family to share with the CQC your experiences, both good and bad, to help shape future services. Give feedback on your care here.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
