Thank you to everyone who took time to come to our charity fundraiser on Saturday night at Crookes Working Mens Club. It was an awesome evening that someone has described as ‘only in Sheffield could that have happened’ night. Thanks to The MeerCats who came and played jazz for us all, thanks to Celena Deans who got us all up dancing with her soulful tunes and thanks to Mill Stone Grit who smashed it with their amazing rock anthem covers and special thanks to Dan Khan AKA Tia Anna who was our mystery guest who brought the house down with his rendition of Gloria Gaynor ‘I will survive’. We would also like to thank Maurice and his staff at Crookes Working Mens Club for kindly giving us the venue for free and being so kind and supportive of us all. Thank you to all the businesses who donated raffle prizes including; Beau Papillon, Body Shop, The Green Room, Halo Nails, James Hadley Fine Diamonds, Nesta, Paella World, Sainsburys, Thorntons, Wosskow Brown Solicitors,
We raised over £1100 which will go to support the amazing work our charity does supporting disabled people across Sheffield to live as independently as possible and to have the same rights and choices as non disabled people so on behalf of all of us at Disability Sheffield, THANK YOU!
