Disability Sheffield is developing some training for students who might need to employ a Workplace Personal Assistant (PA) when they graduate. This will be based on resources produced by The University of York and Sheffield Hallam University following their research around Employing Workplace PAs.
Who we are looking for
3 advisors to help us develop the training who are:
- Current or recent graduates of Sheffield Hallam University or University of Sheffield
- Have a physical or sensory impairment
- Have experience of working with student support or a personal assistant, either in a home, work or study capacity.

We will expect you to:
- Attend 2 meetings in Sheffield during February and March 2019
- Read documents in advance of the meeting and provide comments
- Attend the training which will take place end of March 2019
There will be a one off payment of £150 when the work is complete.
