#Speak Up Grant Applications Now Open

#Speak Up Grant Applications Now Open

Sheffield Healthwatch has announced that the latest round of their #SpeakUp small grants scheme has arrived.

This year Sheffield Healthwatch are looking for 5 voluntary or community sector groups or organisations to work with them on projects which will help take people’s views and experiences to decision makers in Sheffield. The scheme offers fewer grants than before, but each one has more funding ( £2,000) and a greater level of support from the Sheffield Healthwatch team.

They are especially interested in hearing from those who find it hardest to be heard, and want to use their views and experiences to improve health, care and wellbeing in Sheffield.

The deadline for applications is Monday 9th May 2022.

Find out more about the scheme and how to apply on the Sheffield Healthwatch website.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
