SAYiT , the LGBTQ+ young people and sexual health/HIV charity. has created this film with young people in Sheffield who are LGBTQ+. They all wanted to make something that was about acceptance and discovered in their conversations that acceptance was often found in small moments shared between family and friends.
These things didn’t have to be big or loud they just needed to say, in their own way – I love you. So much anger and hate is directed against LGBTQ+ people, and this film celebrates the family members and friends who are Allies. Everyone can be supportive and accepting. Everyone can show it.
Some Moments was produced by My Pockets in Yorkshire working in partnership with the staff and young residents from Sayit.
