A new social cafe and lunch club has been set up by SACMHA Health and Social Care, a Sheffield-based organisation which aims to provide culturally sensitive help, particularly to those who feel marginalised or who struggle to access mainstream services.
It will take place at the SADACCA – Sheffield And District African Caribbean Community Association – building on The Wicker, every Thursday from August 5th.
On offer will be the chance to meet new people, have a chat and share skills, have a Caribbean meal and snacks and take part in gentle exercise and self-care activities. Chiropody treatment will also be available on an appointment=only basis. You can contribute financially through their ‘pay what you can’ system. View Website for more details
You can book a place by telephoning – 0114 272 6393 or emailing c.moss@sacmha.org.uk .
