Sheffield's Outdoor City Survey 2020

Sheffield's Outdoor City Survey 2020

Sheffield’s outdoor spaces have provided places for more people than ever to get fresh air, exercise and unwind since Covid-19.

Sheffield City Council are asking everyone to help them to understand how important our local outdoor spaces are to you – from city parks to the Peak District – and what you like to do when you’re out and about!

Sheffield’s Outdoor City Survey 2020 looks to understand what you would ‘normally’ do outside and how recent and on-going events have influenced how you feel about Sheffield’s outdoor spaces.

The survey is for everybody to complete – whether you participate in outdoor recreational activities or enjoy spending time in the outdoors, or not – Sheffield City Council would like to hear from you.

Your input will help them to understand what’s important to you and to set their priorities going forwards. It may provide evidence to help attract investment into Sheffield’s outdoor spaces. The survey will take around 10 minutes, so grab yourself a brew and tell them what you think.

To take the survey or for more information, click here. If you have any questions regarding this survey, please get in touch with Maxine Gregory at Sheffield Hallam University m.gregory@shu.ac.uk

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
