Sheffield’s 1st Dementia Conversation event will take place on Thursday 13 June 2019 from 9.30am to 3pm at St Mary’s Conference Centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, S2 4QZ.
Organised by Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance, the free event will:
• Provide an opportunity to share information, knowledge and awareness about Dementia across groups and organisation in Sheffield
• Examine how more can be done to support people and families living with Dementia
• Help develop plans to help Sheffield move towards becoming a Dementia Friendly City
Speakers will include Ripaljeet Kaur from Bradford Touchstone Project which is working with BAME communities. There will also be workshops including Dementia Friends and Memory Boxes, entertainment and a market place of information from PKW Partnerships and other groups about projects and activities for people, family and carers living with dementia

• People Living with dementia and their families and carers
• Members of Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance
• Organisations working in Sheffield to become more dementia friendly
