Sheffield City Council are refreshing both their Post-16 and Home to School Travel and Transport policies and they would like to hear the views of people who might be affected by any changes they make to the policies. These include:
- Young people
- Parent/Carers
- Schools
- Colleges
- The voluntary, community, faith sector
- Neighbouring local authorities
The deadlines for giving your feedback on each policy are different:
Post-16 policy
As Sheffield City Council have a duty to publish the Post-16 policy on/before 31st May, the deadline for feedback is Friday 24th May 2019. Sheffield Council claims that this date has been pushed as close as possible to the publication date in order to give as many people as possible the chance to give their feedback; however worries may arise regarding the short timescale available to implement any changes arising from the consultation.

Home to School policy
There is no fixed date for publishing the Home to School policy, so Sheffield City Council are able to extend the consultation period – therefore the deadline for feedback is Friday 14th June 2019. After considering the feedback, the policy will be published prior to the end of the current term.
