SheFest is a not-for-profit organisation made up of local volunteers championing women’s rights and gender equality through a range of inclusive events, activities, workshops, film screenings and more.

With a feminist fringe festival made up of 10 days ( 5th to 15th March ) of inclusive events in celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8th), SheFest welcomes everyone to join in, try something new and have fun. For the first time ever this year the festival takes place across the whole of South Yorkshire, with events in Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
