Rock'n'roll Rotary Fundraising Evening

Fancy an evening of rock’n‘roll music and also to help raise money for charities including Disability Sheffield? Well, we have just the event for you.

The Rotary Club Of Sheffield Vulcan is holding a fundraising event called Taptonfest on Saturday November 17, from 6.30-11pm. The venue, Tapton Hall, on Shore Lane, is wheelchair-accessible. View Poster . We are very grateful to the Rotary Club for their support.

Acts taking part include The Vulcan Bombers, Regeneration and The Legal Street Performers and the organisers promise ‘food, drink and music we all know.’ There is a £17.50 suggested donation for tickets, which includes a pie and pea supper.

Money raised will go to a variety of locally-based charities including Disability Sheffield, St Luke’s Hospice, Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and The Master Cutler’s charity. Tickets must be bought in advance to attend and are available from Graham at warwickrockers@aol.com .

The Rotary Club of Sheffield Vulcan meets at 18:30 on Tuesday evenings at Abbeydale Sports Club, Abbeydale Road South, S17 3LJ and holds a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
