A Yorkshire-based organisation which exists to make inclusion a reality for all people with a learning disability, autistic people and their families is looking for volunteers to be part of a photography exhibition which will be taking place later this year.
Inclusion North, which has its headquarters in Leeds, has teamed up with Photographer Rachael Munro-Fawcett. They are inviting people with a profound and multiple learning disability and their families or paid carers to be part of their photography project and exhibition entitled ‘Involving Everyone’.
The exhibition will add to the voice and visibility of this group of people and celebrate the joy and value that they bring to our communities.
Working closely with individuals and their families, Rachael will use photography to tell their stories and as part of the project Rachael will support the people she works with to make their own photographs. These photographs will then be displayed alongside Rachael’s photography at the Involving Everyone Exhibition which will be on display in October 2022 at The Word in South Shields.
A short film has been made to promote the project.
If you would like the opportunity to be part of this project, please fill out the Note of Interest Form by 30th May 2022 or telephone Kirsty Morgan (Project Support Coordinator at Inclusion North) for more information on 07539 063467 or email kirsty.morgan@inclusionnorth.org
