'Pay as You Feel' Community Foodhall

Foodhall is an innovative communal kitchen, vegetarian dining area and Freecycle food network in Sheffield, where the public are invited to cook or dine on a pay-as-you-feel basis. The project is run by students, graduates and young people all trying out new ways of engaging with each other and the wider community through shared food. Sheffield residents are invited to make a contribution by volunteering to cook for the city, donate some food or by going, eating and chatting. Foodhall Sheffield is open from 10am till 4pm, Thursdays to Saturdays at 151 Eyre Street.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
