PA Advertising Campaign Seeks your Views

PA Advertising Campaign Seeks your Views

Want to influence a brand-new advertising campaign in the making, aimed to market positive social care roles including PAs? Sheffield City Council want to work with a group of Individual Employers and PAs ASAP to make sure the marketing agency get it right.

The severe shortage of PAs and social care workers is something most of us are all too familiar with. This Sheffield City Council commissioned campaign aims to encourage people to think about social care and PA work as a positive work option.

Mary Gardner, Sheffield City Council’s Strategic Commissioning Manager for Direct Payments & Carers, is looking for interested Individual Employers and PAs who want to influence the advertising campaign, and help create stories, adverts, including things like ‘A Day in the life of…’ for marketing – all with a PA role theme. Participants will be offered a £20 voucher or payment.

To find out more or get involved and volunteer to take part please email Mary.Gardner@sheffield.gov.uk

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
