New Leisure Time Sport Sessions

To increase the amount of activities available to their disabled customers Sheffield International Venues ( SIV ) offers Leisure Time sports sessions, where you can be active and meet new people in an easy going, friendly and open environment. You will have the opportunity to take part in activities including badminton, boccia, cricket, table tennis and football and jump around on their bouncy castle.

A Multi-Sensory Room is also available to use and is made up of 3 areas:-

  • The Sensory Room – play and explore all the different equipment to stimulate your senses
  • The Relaxation Room – unwind and relax to the calming music, smells and visuals.
  • The Interactive Room – full of fun equipment to aid with learning different sounds and colours

The open sessions are suitable for adults with a mild to more severe learning disability and or physical disability and take place at:

  • EIS Sheffield on Mondays 12:30pm – 2:30pm (Session at EIS Sheffield excludes Multi-Sensory Room)

Sessions cost £3.00 per person. No need to book in advance, simply turn up on the day.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
