New Bereavement Support Group

New Bereavement Support Group

Compassionate Sheffield recently collaborated on a project with Space to Breathe called Listening to Loss . The project creatively explored experiences of grief and bereavement in Sheffield and put the findings in a project report.

Following the report, Compassionate Sheffield and Space to Breathe are working together to create a monthly online bereavement support group, and would love anyone interested in taking part to help shape the group. If you would like to be involved please consider completing this short online survey and/or share this opportunity with anyone you know who may be interested in accessing the group. The survey closes on 5 July.

There were over 1,000 tickets booked across all of the events throughout the month-long Sheffield Life, Loss and Death Festival in May and here are details of more events in the coming months.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
