Keep in Touch Guide for Carers

Keep in Touch Guide for Carers

Sheffield Carers Centre new ‘Keep in Touch’ guide aims to help carers, and those they care for maintain social connections whilst also following physical distancing guidelines. The 12-page guide highlights the importance of having social interaction and lists some of the most popular ways people are now keeping in touch. It also provides some inspirational real life examples of how people have made new friends. On a practical level, the guide includes links to some examples of the numerous local and national groups that can help people stay socially connected.

You can download the guide here .

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
