Job Opportunities at Sheffield ME And Fibromyalgia Group

Sheffield ME and Fibromyalgia Group is advertising three new vacancies.

The group is a small registered charity providing information, support and a point of contact for people of all ages with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), otherwise known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), and fibromyalgia, their families and their carers, in the wider Sheffield area.

They also seek to raise general awareness of ME/CFS and fibromyalgia, and to educate the general public through the promotion and dissemination of knowledge about these chronic, debilitating illnesses. Here’s an overview of the vacancies and how to apply from the group.

Please note that the deadline for applications for the Activities Co-ordinator post is Monday October 15th and October 22nd for the Information Officer and Benefits Advisers posts.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
