Independent Living Strategy Group Survey

The Independent Living Strategy Group ( ILSG ) is made up of disabled people and allies from a range of organisations It is convened by Baroness Jane Campbell. The Group is conducting a survey to find out about people’s experiences of choice and control over their care and support. They want to find out about your experiences in order to share them with the government and the public in the hope that it will help bring about improvements. Please go to the survey to take part.

The ILSG conducted a similar survey last year and produced a set of key messages about your rights under the new Care Act 2014.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
