In Safe Hands : Emergency Plans for Carers

In an emergency, as a carer you have the additional worry about what will happen to the person you care for. If you are ill or have an accident, would anyone know there was a person in need of care? Who would take over their care and how would they understand their specific needs? . The new ‘ In Safe Hands ’ service at Sheffield Carers Centre will help you to create an emergency plan, that ensures arrangements are in place for the person you care for. When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
