‘Here to Hear' Bereavement Helpline

Here to Hear is a Multi-Lingual and Multi-Faith Bereavement helpline set up by the DiverseCity Development Trust . The helpline is a listening service for anyone in the Sheffield area struggling to come to terms with loss and grief. The helpline matches callers with someone who speaks the same language or has a similar background. More details are included in their leaflet explaining how to cope with different types of grief.

The Helpline number is 0114 3952127 ( Mon – Fri 10am – 4pm ) Weekend appointment available on request.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
