Help Test Social Work England Website

Help Test Social Work England Website

A new, national organisation based in Sheffield is seeking volunteers to help it prepare for its launch in December.

Social Work England is a specialist regulator focused on enabling positive change in social work. It is looking for people with a couple of hours to spare to help test a new website for social workers and people with lived experience of social work.

The website will allow the public to check the details of around 100,000 registered social workers and raise any concerns. Social workers will use the site to apply to join the register, upload their continuing professional development and show that they meet Social Work England’s new professional standards.

Social Work England is looking for volunteers in early November to check that the website is accessible. This can be done from any computer. A brief plus a link to the test site will be provided.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
