Help Shape Healthwatch Sheffield

Help Shape Healthwatch Sheffield

Are you interested in:

• Making a difference to people’s lives?
• Volunteering to support Sheffield people to have a say about the care and support they receive to help shape services?
• Ensuring Sheffield is a healthy city for everyone?

If the answer is “YES!” then why don’t you consider joining Healthwatch Sheffield’s Strategic Advisory Group?

A bit like a trustee board, the Strategic Advisory Group is a group of volunteers who steer the direction of their work. The opportunity is open to anyone who lives, works or volunteers in our city, with an interest in ensuring that Sheffield people are involved in the design and delivery of health and social care services.

Read more about the opportunity and how to apply on Healthwatch Sheffield’s Website

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 22nd April 2025 at 5pm. Interviews will take place on Thursday 1st May 2025.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
