Healthwatch Voluntary Community Faith (VCF) Health & Social Care Forum

The next Healthwatch Sheffield Voluntary Community Faith (VCF) Health & Social Care Forum will take place on Thursday 14th September, at The Circle, Rockingham Lane, Sheffield, at 10-12noon (refreshments served from 9.45).

The Forum is described as an opportunity to hear from expert speakers and debate critical issues about specific issues.

This forum meeting will be on: ‘Accountable Care Partnership: what is it all about?’

The ACP is the new structure for health & social care, and the VCF Forum will look at:

1. What is an ACP, and how will it work?
2. How are citizens involved?
3. How is it accountable?

Anyone from a voluntary, community or faith organisation is welcome to attend the meeting.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
